It's all about FAMILY! and snowballs?

The more and more I walk around living my life the more I realize that our friends really are the family that we choose. Many times this family group that we surround ourselves with becomes just as caring, loving, and supportive as a real family, many times more so. It's only when there is a strong core group of individuals who have that family dynamic that these people can put their efforts together and yield far greater than the sum of their parts. It starts with a little idea. That little idea makes it's way onto paper somehow, its first physical manifestation. Eventually that little idea gets brought up during conversation. This is the kindling for the fire of conversation. If the idea has potential, it may set the group ablaze. For a family group of friends starting a business this results in action. The action is infectious and begins to spread outside of the small family group and is soon adopted or coveted by people on the fringes of the circle. Exclusivity draws people in because of their want to be part of something underground, meaningful, and  unique. Once they enter the circle they will realize that this group is the exact opposite of exclusive. This is no VIP club or BACKSTAGE PASS. This is a very INCLUSIVE group of people who just want to keep rolling and growing much like the snowball down the mountain. You don't have to stick if you don't want to...but we're rolling over your ass anyway! Point being, when you have a strong family group who are united by more than selfish-egocentric-materialist-opportunist values you have a self-sustaining entity. You have a family who will not stop when a million snowflakes stand in their path. They will stick together and roll with the punches until the bottom of the hill where the massive ball will slow to a stop and be melted by the sun, then evaporate into the sky just to float back to earth for another roll down the mountainside. We'll be together for the whole ride. Come along if you like...
